Welcome to Muscatello Electrical, INC. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. These terms and conditions apply to all estimates, proposals, service calls, installations and electrical work performed by Muscatello electrical, INC. By accepting an estimate, scheduling service, or authorizing work you agree to the following terms.
Estimates
All estimates are valid for (30) days unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on the scope of work outlined in the proposal. Any modifications or additional work requested after acceptance may require a revised estimate or change order.
Scope of Work
Our services include only the work specifically described in the accepted estimate or proposal. Any additional work resulting from customer requests or unforeseen conditions will be discussed before proceeding and may result in additional charges.Â
Permit and Inspections
Permits and inspections will be obtained when it’s included in the proposal or required by code. Any fees not included in the original proposal, or additional work required by inspection findings or existing conditions, may be billed separately.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the terms stated on your invoice or proposal. Invoices not paid within seven (7) days are subject to a 2.5% monthly late charge, or maximum amount permitted by law.
The customer is responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including attorney’s fees and court costs, if legal action becomes necessary.
Deposits
Certain projects require a deposit before scheduling or ordering materials. Deposits will be credited toward the final invoice.
SchedulingÂ
Appointment dates are estimates and may change due to weather, emergencies, material availability, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to communicate scheduling changes promptly.
Customer ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
- Secure pets during service.
- Remove and protect valuable belongings near work area.
- Ensure someone 18 years of age or older is available to authorize work if necessary.
Warranty
Muscatello Electrical, INC. provides an one-year workmanship warranty from the date of project completion unless otherwise stated in writing.
Manufacturer warranties apply only to products supplied by the manufacturer and are subject to their terms and conditions.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, power surges, lighting, acts of nature, normal wear and tear or work performed by others.
Customer supplied materials
Materials or equipment supplied by the customer are installed without warranty from Muscatello Electrical, INC. Additional labor resulting from customer-provided products may be billed separately.
Limitation of Liability
Muscatello Electrical, INC. is not responsible for indirect incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of business or lost profits arising from our services.
Governing LawÂ
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
